Let me be honest and human with you. I've been where your managers are – wrestling with imposter syndrome, fumbling through giving feedback, terrified of having to terminate, and struggling to delegate - all of which was slowly burning me out. After 20 years of high-pressure leadership roles, I stepped away from my corporate career to make things better for others.
We don't provide new managers with enough skills or support to manage teams effectively, leading to toxic work cultures, burnout, low team engagement, low employee retention, and poor employee satisfaction. This is costing organizations thousands of dollars annually, and causing managers emotional burnout.
